The new Ray Collection of Regal’s outshine indoor/outdoor fabrics is made with solution dyed polypropylene yarns (SDPP) that boast 3,000 hours UV light resistance properties. Our 5 year warranty covers color fastness, stain resistance, and cleaning performance.
Pigments are added to the polymer solution before extrusion, resulting in fibers with color that runs throughout the entire strand. This unique method makes SDPP highly resistant to fading, even when exposed to harsh sunlight, environmental elements, abrasion, and general wear and tear for indoor & outdoor settings where longevity is crucial.
outshine fabrics are finished with the same PFAS-free solution as all PUREformance by Regal Fabrics. In addition, SDPP has hydrophobic properties, meaning it repels water and is resistant to moisture absorption which protects against mold and mildew growth.
SDPP fabrics are easy to clean and maintain. In many cases, a simple mixture of mild soap and water is sufficient to keep the fabric looking new. The Ray collection is also bleach cleanable with a diluted solution.
The solution dyeing process consumes less water and energy compared to traditional dyeing methods. Additionally, the longevity and resistance of SDPP reduce the need for frequent replacements, contributing to a more sustainable and eco-friendly choice for consumers.
The Beam collection of outshine by Regal Fabrics indoor/outdoor fabrics are made with 100% solution dyed polyester yarns and have 2,000 hours UV light resistance properties. Solution dyed polyester fabrics are unique in that a liquid polyester solution is mixed with dye, formed into a fiber, and then spun into yarn. Solution dyeing is also eco-friendly, with no water and less energy used in production than conventional yarns.
The filling yarn is ring-spun and plied. Fabric made from ring spun yarns are softer, bulkier and more natural feeling. Plying yarns adds strength and durability, making the fabric more resistant to abrasion and spills.

SW: Most liquids can simply be blotted from the surface. For more difficult stains use a mixture of mild detergent (such as Dawn or Woolite) and water, or a mild upholstery cleaner. Solvent cleaning requires thorough spot testing.
Apply cleaner to stain and blot with a clean cloth. Rinse and blot to remove residue of soap or cleaner. Air dry. Do not bleach fabrics from the Beam collection.
