HIGH POINT — Regal Fabrics plans to add to its collection of performance fabrics at the upcoming Interwoven tradeshow, with a new Go-To Pureformance Textures collection.
The lineup of 12 patterns pairs design with true cleanability, passes 100K double rubs and is presented in a dedicated sample binder that puts specs at customers’ fingertips. The collection spans a range of textures and colorways.
Every pattern in the Go-To Pureformance Textures collection is tested for durability, pilling and colorfastness to meet rigorous standards of performance. And the collection is PFAS-free.
Scott Kahan, director of product, served on the industry panel that helped establish new minimum standards for PFAS-free and fluorine-free performance fabric. That work shaped Regal’s own approach well before the collection launched. “We didn’t want to just meet the new standard; we wanted to help write it,” said Kahan. “Being PFAS-free isn’t a feature we’re adding to this collection. It’s table stakes.”
